In 1978, John Gibbon began a new business that was inspired through his experience as an Edmond, Oklahoma  Firefighter.  He knew many homes and businesses were lost due to the highly flammable roofing materials that were in use.  In search of quality, long lasting and flame resistant materials, his research led him to the Snap Lock Steel Standing Seam and Classic Aluminum Shingles that would meet construction standards, lower insurance rates while maintaining architectural integrity and eye appeal.  In 1981, John incorporated his business that is known today as Atlas Enterprise, Incorporated. 

Atlas Enterprise, Inc.  is a family owned and operated company which initially had a primary focuses on residential home improvement.  After much success in the metal roofing area, the primary focus turned to commercial metal building and continues to grow and has become known as a company you can trust.  Atlas commercial building experience includes churches, offices, strip centers, warehouses, hangers, riding arenas, warehouses and many other business, commercial and agriculture buildings.
